We asked TestRight to develop a customized high-resolution spectrometer with a bespoke sample holder stand for the optical structures developed by Dr. Joby Joseph's lab at IIT Delhi.
The additional requirements for our research were an x-y motion and 1-axis rotation in the sample holder to adjust the angles of the optical structures which behaved like tiny gratings. Our research has a tremendous scope in quick pathogen screening. With TestRight's tailored service were able to analyze our samples effortlessly in time. TestRight is working with us on further prototypes and is excited to partner with us to convert this into a marketable product.
We used PRIZM with our aptamer-based kit to detect urea in milk on the field. TestRight developed a custom Android app for us.
It's a handy spectrophotometer for any lab in limited space. We can directly take OD readings of bacterial cultures in the laminar hood itself.
We bought 10 devices for our UG labs where our students will now get to learn hands-on, thanks to PRIZM. Now, we can have one each for our students.
